In all seriousness for a first attempt they weren’t too hideous lol. One of them drooped behind my pizza stone and formed an L. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut into them and saw the crumb. All in all I think they’re passable (and very tasty).
I will definitely be trying again.

The famous Boomerang baguette. That’s how Napoleon won all those battles.

First time!? Nicely done and I agree, that crumb looks pretty nice. You can only improve from here but you’re already starting strong. What recipe did you use?
Mine resemble that! I bet they are great!
Peyronies baguettes.
They look fantastic
I bought a French ceramic stoneware baguette pan with lid, very nice baguettes every time

Captain went and made a baguette for holding their other baguettes 🤯
Please include a signature oddly shaped baguette in all your future baguette posts 🙏
I cried the first and only time I tried to make baguettes. It was an awful experience. I think yours look great in comparison.
The infamous 90 degree baguette lmao
In all seriousness they look very good ! Very nice crumb. More steam next time and your scoring should be more horizontal (make 3 longer scores).
sorry, but most baguettes do not have scoliosis.
Back scratcher 😄
Unreal!!
recipe?
Maybe you can sell some at a pavilion like the one at the CNE (in toronto)and label it “Artisan Baguettes“ or something like that
I accept your offer to no longer make baguettes. I’ll be dm’ing you my address and you can send me some of yours! Nice job!
*chef’s kiss* ( ˘ ³˘)❤︎
Fagetaboutit!! The outside appearance is of little consequence. Look at that freakin crumb!!! It’s gorgeous!!
I’ve made plenty an L shaped baguette. They eat the same. The perforated baguette trays have really upped my game
